My Troubles

"My troubles" is one in a series based on a pole dance competition piece that I choreographed and performed in 2023 to the song "Swimming" by Pearl and the Beard. The song has a line, "the trouble is, my troubles aren't real", which has a sort of beautiful sadness. I didn't expect how emotional this curled up sitting pose would feel, but I think it captures the feeling of having all of this worry and anxiety that only exists in your mind.
