How it works
Before the event, we will meet to discuss the details: what moment during the event you would like to have embroidered; the size of the piece; and whether you would like it framed or kept in the embroidery hoop.
During the event, I will have a station set up with all the supplies needed (I will show up early to get set up). My station can be right in the center of things or a quiet corner depending on how much attention you would like to have on the process. I will take a quick reference photo of whatever we had decided on prior and get started stitching. Guests are free to come up and watch or chat with me if they'd like.
At the end of the event, if the piece is finished, you may go home with it. But as embroidery tends to take time, most likely I will pack up and finish the embroidery based on my reference photo and then mail or drop off the finished piece when it is finished.
Live Event Embroidery
Live event embroidery is an event service where an artist creates an embroidery (without any pattern or sketch) throughout the event. Guests can watch as the embroidered portrait unfolds and becomes a truly one of a kind piece of art.
